Flovent® HFA 44 mcg is a prescription inhaler used for the daily, long-term control of asthma in adults and children aged 4 years and older. It contains fluticasone propionate, an inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) that helps reduce inflammation in the airways, making breathing easier and helping to prevent asthma attacks. The 44 mcg strength is the lowest available dose, often prescribed for children or for those starting inhaled steroid therapy.

This medication is not a rescue inhaler and must be used consistently to be effective.
